One person died and three others were injured after a Toyota Coaster car carrying several Lions fans from Mbeya collided with a truck in the Vigwaza region of Pwani, this morning on March 29, 2024
The statement of the death has been given by the Coastal Regional Police Commander, Pius Lutumo who has said "I am at the scene of the incident and we continue to remove vehicles. The cause of the accident and other information are under investigation and will be released later."
The fans were on their way to Dar es Salaam to witness their team's game against Egypt's Al Ahly at the Mkapa Stadium in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League which is expected to be played tonight.
